Imported Tommy Atkins mangos were becoming popular -n Uganda, but the variety’s performance in various agro-ecological conditions was not known. For it to be officially accepted and registered for use in the country, it had to be assessed for adaptability, productivity and market suitability of in Uganda. This would provide evidence-based recommendations for growers and other mango value chain players
